Support and help bring food to the COVID-19 units in San Diego organized by Damien Devine
Help us bring food to the people on the front line at Hospitals
We are trying to send meals for groups of 15 to 50 that are serving in COVID units and ER at hospitals around the county of San Diego. If you wish to help support these brave people that are risking their lives to fight the Coronavirus. Please donate anything you can to help us bring them food, so they can focus on their work.
I received this email from a nurse and it made me realize that we should help fundraise for these people that are dealing with this problem head-on:
“I’m a nurse at Sharp Grossmont and we are a COVID unit. We have been dealing with our stress by consuming carbs and ice cream… enormous amounts of both. We are bored of the usual and would like to know if you would deliver out to the La Mesa/El Cajon area? We are night shift so we won’t even start work till 7 pm and the first 2 hours are pretty hectic. Thank you!” – Tess
